Chambers Flat is around an hour to 75 minutes north-west, depending on which part of the Gold Coast you're starting from, while Caboolture and Wamuran push closer to the 90-minute mark. Build in extra time on weekends, since the route runs through Brisbane's southern suburbs.

This part of Queensland runs a winter strawberry season, typically June to October, with pick-your-own concentrated in the August to October window once the fruit is at full volume. That's the opposite pattern to Victoria or Tasmania, so it suits a cooler-weather day trip rather than a summer holiday plan.

Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm charges around fifteen dollars for adults including a 500 gram punnet, with children about half that and infants free; extra fruit runs roughly twenty-four dollars a kilo. Prices at the smaller Caboolture and Wamuran growers vary by season, so check current rates before you go.
